Nutrition lunch subsidy program

When Tzu Chi volunteers entered the Gautam Buddha School, they observed that the students had poor hygiene awareness and eating habits. Henceforth, Tzu Chi decided to provide additional nutritious ingredients to allow the school to supplement the students' nutrition.

The school provided hot milk porridge, and some children ate it using their hands, while others used rolled-up leaves as spoons. Tzu Chi volunteers immediately brought eco-friendly bowls to the school and later provided spoons. This initiative not only improved the students' dining hygiene but also allowed volunteers to enter the classrooms and promote proper dining etiquette.
