The low attendance of children in school is often due to the inability to afford school supplies such as school bag, exercise books, stationery, and other educational materials. Additionally, the need for extra hands during busy agricultural seasons at home contributes to absenteeism. To address this situation, improve the children's confidence in returning to school, and alleviate the financial burden on their families, Tzu Chi organized a stationery distribution at the end of 2022, benefiting over 2500 students in six schools.

Following this initiative, Tzu Chi received requests from twenty two additional schools. Seizing the opportunity, they distributed over 6200 warm winter clothes to economically disadvantaged students, ensuring they can face the winter season with peace of mind.
