Spreading seeds of great love in the Buddha’s homeland, inspiring good thoughts and actions in everyone, is a long-term and crucial mission. Tzu Chi volunteers from Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and other places take turns to be stationed in Nepal. Seizing the opportunity of being in Nepal, they wholeheartedly promote various missions, organize tea gatherings to invite local volunteers, and share Master Cheng Yen's aspirations and Tzu Chi's compassionate stories whenever they meet people.

During year end 2022, Tzu Chi held its first training session for new volunteers, with over a hundred participants. These individuals come from diverse backgrounds, including teachers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, students, and more. What remains unchanged is their sincere desire to contribute to society.

Tzu Chi's volunteer training goes beyond static courses; it involves practical experiences, such as visiting impoverished communities, learning the spirit of compassion and altruism inspired by Buddha, and putting these teachings into practice. Through hands-on learning, they deepen their understanding, firming their commitment to walking the Bodhisattva path.
